In response to fulfill the LEED Core & Shell requirements for both Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning for the BASF building in Florham Park, New Jersey, The Rockefeller Group commissioned spaces that total 291,000 square feet.

Understanding the challenges of creating a sustainable building with high efficient energy systems, Rockefeller contracted Eneractive to act as its Commissioning Agent to develop/implement a construction phase Commissioning Plan covering the buildings energy systems. Energy Efficient Measures identified include envelope upgrade, DHW load reduction, garage fan controls, energy efficient elevators and high efficiency under-air-floor system. Through the process, Eneractive identified the pertinent responsibilities of each construction team member, developed testing procedures, and will oversee the ensuing testing effort to ensure the final systems operate as the project engineer had designed.
