Fundamental Commissioning

Jones Lang LaSalle outfitted a first floor tenant space at 400 Interpace Pkwy in Parsippany, New Jersey. The project encompassed 12,800 square feet for use as general office space with user amenities including conference rooms, a kitchenette pantry, a staff lounge, and computer support rooms.

Eneractive was contracted to act as the project’s Commissioning Agent in order to assist in the achievement of LEED accreditation and to ensure the overall project effort adhered to the owner’s original intent. The ensuing endeavor included the drafting of the owner’s project requirements, oversight of the engineer’s Basis of Design document, a design review, and the incorporation of a full construction phase Commissioning process. With a comprehensive final design in place, this construction phase effort consisted of developing and implementing system checklists in order to ensure the final design was realized, and providing verification that the required closeout documentation had been completed.
