CHRYSLER BUILDING EAST

ASHRAE Level II Energy Audit

Eneractive conducted an ASHRAE Level II Energy Audit on the Chrysler Building East in order to determine, quantify, and qualify potential energy conservation projects for implementation. The Eneractive team’s focus was on identifying and developing capital-intensive ECMs that consisted of equipment upgrades or replacements and the installation of new technology. Resultant from Eneractive’s study, the building demonstrated past energy conservation efforts in the form of lighting retrofits and controls upgrades. As such, the opportunities identified were designed to further enhance and improve upon the conservation strategies currently in place. A total of three capital project ECMs were developed, yielding potential electrical savings of over 899,000 kWh and 175 kW annually.

ACHIEVEMENTS

- $163,000 in annual energy savings

- Notable ECM with potential annual savings of $105,000
