Scott Johnson

Regional Director

With over 15 years in the industry, Scott Johnson brings an expansive assemblage of experience to the Eneractive team. As the Regional Director of the Midwest Region, Scott’s primary goal is to spearhead the development and growth of both the team and business in the Chicago and surrounding Midwest area at large. Scott is proficient in many areas such as: Executive and Management Level Communications; Strategic Planning; Financial Planning and Pro- Forma Analysis; Microsoft Office Suite including Project and Visio; AutoCad; Building Analysis (Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, EQuest); and Financial Systems (SAP, Solomon).




Prior to joining Edison Energy, Farhan served as the Engineering Manager at Nexant Inc. (Madison, WI) where he managed a staff of 25 engineers in Madison, WI; Des Moines, IA; and Nashville, TN to provide engineering, commissioning and energy consulting services to the industrial and commercial building design and construction industry. He was responsible for staff productivity, work quality control, engineering direction, and business growth. Additionally, he managed large customers and projects to deliver energy efficient designs and reviewed engineering and architectural construction documents to provide direction to team.

Tim McAvoy

Regional Manager


As a Regional Manager in Edison’s Midwest office, Tim brings over 15 years of experience in the engineering industry. As Regional Manager, one of Tim’s aims is to further grow and develop the Midwest market and our services there. Tim has a wide variety of experience, including the development of CHP projects for Capstone Microturbines and lighting projects for lighting developer, Verde Solutions. He has also worked with CLEAResult as an Energy Engineer and as a Program Manager for C&I electric and gas programs. Most recently, Tim worked with Amaresco developing projects for industrial, healthcare, K-12 and municipality markets

Jeremy Sewlyn

Project Manager


Jeremy has over 7 years of experience in the engineering industry, in addition to strong analytical and communication skills. His ability to implement strategic business initiatives in the field of demand side management make him a valuable team member in the growth and development of our Midwest Region. Jeremy has a breadth of technical skills, including: Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Trane TRACE 700, Pro-Engineer, and Solid Works.
