As the founder of Eneractive, Dan leads the company’s strategic direction and vision. Working to foster innovation, creativesolutions, and powerful communication, while remaining fully grounded in pragmatic engineering practices, Dan creates an environment at Eneractive that produces extraordinary results for clients.
With his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, Dan began his career as a rotating equipment engineer in the nuclear power industry before moving into a role of engineering sales and business development within the energy industry. Working for such companies as New Jersey Natural Gas, Sargent and Lundy, Comfort Systems USA, and Dometech Engineering, Dan has used his background to make Eneractive a unique, solutions-driven company that thrives on the challenge of bringing peak performance to clients’ facilities.
Responsible for corporate strategy and Northeast and national operations, Dave brings two decades of energy engineering and energy project related experience to Eneractive. He has actively participated in the development and management of energy and construction projects in over 1000 facilities totaling over $200 million in installation costs and over $300 million in energy/utility savings.
Dave is also responsible for Eneractive’s solar initiative, which includes the design development and design build installation of the nation’s first commercial floating solar system to be hosted in a freeze/thaw environment. His involvement in project management, construction, customer service, maintenance, and engineering services is evident in his ability to align Eneractive with the goals and objectives of its clients.
Of note, Dave has been a Project of the Year Award recipient from AEE and has participated in numerous expert round tables and panel discussions, including those of the American Water Works Association and the NJ Office of Clean Energy. He holds his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland
With over 14 years of experience in the energy engineering and consulting industry, Saverio has managed onsite commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, balancing and analysis for a wide range of HVAC equipment and systems. Having commissioned millions of sq. ft. of commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial space, he has been invited to speak to at numerous events for the USGBC, BOMA, IFMA, BCxA and AEE. Saverio has been instrumental in assisting OLTPS in defining energy audit and Retro-Cx legislation (Local Law 87) as part of the Mayor’s PlaNYC 2030 goals. He is currently working with NYC’s Department of Building on a similar effort to further define the Cx process.
As a contributor to the LEED training process, GPRO, Saverio’s dedication to advancing the industry earned him the “2011 Urban Green Service Award” from the NYC Chapter of the US Green Building Council. More recently, Saverio was a Finalist for an Urban Green “EBie Award” highlighting a project with significant operational contribution for MSKCC.
Managing the day-to-day operations of Eneractive’s consulting services in the Mid-Atlantic region, Doug has a diverse and unique set of talents that allow him to align clients’ needs with their goals. Focused on energy audits, commissioning and retro commissioning, Energy Star benchmarking, and LEED Certification consulting, Doug has led the energy conservation success of hundreds of client projects: from retail outlets to academic institutes, military bases to residential housing.
Chris is accountable for corporate-wide project development and program/project management for the implementation of Eneractive’s portfolio of renewable and energy efficiency projects. A member of AEE and PMI, Chris has over 30 years of extensive experience in construction management, energy efficiency programs, and bid packages preparation.
He has been published in NAESCO’s Energy Efficiency Journal and Case Study Series and holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Mr. Brzezowski is the Vice President of ENERActive Solutions’ Energy Technology Division with over 35 years of experience in the energy industry. He previously served as the Vice President of Energy and MEP Services at Falcon Engineering. Prior to that, he served as President and Founder of Noveda Technologies and Director of Engineering for The Ferreira Group in Branchburg, NJ where he engineered the first Net Zero Electric Commercial Building in the United States. His expertise is in Mechanical Engineering, Commissioning, Computer Technologies, and Building Management Systems. From project assessment to design, construction, and commissioning, energy efficiency and renewable energy is an integrated and natural part of Mr. Brzezowski’s project workflow.
Mr. DiGuilio has more than 25 years of experience with proven success in project development of alternative energy solutions, operations and facilities management. He has a strong background in construction, engineering, large-scale project leadership, business development, and strategic planning with fast-track approaches in varied industries. Mr. DiGuilio has managed multimillion dollar projects for key clients including the New York Power Authority, Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, State University of New York/ State University Construction Fund (SUNY/SUCF), New York City Transit (NYCT), Becton Dickinson, L’Oreal, Chanel, BMW, International Flavors and Fragrances and IBM.
Prior to Eneractive, Mr. DiGuilio served as Sr. Vice President at EIAD Energy Solutions, LLC.
Jim has over 45 years of energy engineering experience. His distinguished long career includes almost thirty (30) years of executive and operational management with three (3) three of the country’s largest regulated energy utility companies. Philadelphia Gas Works, PEPCO & NUI Utilities. Jim also has held senior level management and business development positions with two major energy engineering firms Pace Global Energy and the Dome Tech Group a United Technologies Company.
Jim started his long career as a utility company pipe fitter followed by a 4-1/2 year training apprenticeship program in energy appliance repairs from UGI, along with extensive engineering training from Institute of Gas Technology of Chicago and the Boiler Institute Delaware Valley. Jim is currently the Vice President of Market Development and Sales for ENERActive Solutions and has held that senior position of responsibility since the company has been founded.
As a top-producing sales executive with more than 15 years of experience in the energy industry, Stefan’s skills in business development, key account management, territory development, contract negotiations, sales management, strategic planning, marketing, product development, and staff development play a key role in Energy Commodity Sales Division of Eneractive Solutions.
Stefan has a successful track record of increasing revenue, capturing market share, and maintaining a high rate of account retention in competitive markets. He also has expertise in creating marketable products, developing innovative business plans, and penetrating lucrative markets. Through his past experience he has proven ability to build and manage highly productive sales team, and displays a talent for working effectively with internal teams to strengthen a company’s industry position. Stefan has a history of developing and leveraging long-term, trusting, and portable relationships with key decision-makers in major corporate accounts.
With over 35 years of experience, Mr.Friedman is a strong organizational leader with proven success as a sales and marketing executive within the technology markets and professional services organizations. Prior to joining Eneractive Solutions, Alan served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at AtSite Inc. where Mr. Freidman oversaw Business Development and Account Management.
He has cultivated expertise in strategic development with an emphasis in emerging technologies in the energy industry. An early innovator in energy conservation, Mr. Freidman focuses on innovation in building performance with respect to energy and smart building infrastructure. His client managed relationships and experience range from retail and commercial to the hospitality and healthcare industries, including Fortune 500 Companies Pfizer Chemical, Dow Chemical, CB Richard Ellis, PepsiCo Corp., and Disney World to briefly note.
Overseeing sales and operations of Eneractive’s New York City office, Keith’s entire professional career has been as a consultant in the field of energy conservation, system optimization and performance. With more than 20 years of experience, Keith is a pioneer in the field of retro-commissioning and has extensive knowledge in the conducting of energy audits and the technical and economic evaluation of energy conservation opportunities.
Keith is certified in Building Commissioning by NEBB and is familiar with all aspects of HVAC and utility system commissioning with specialty knowledge in the areas of large central chilled water plants, air handlers and air distribution systems.
With over 13 years of experience, Mr.Szarawarski has developed an expertise in both the managing and conducting of energy related engineering projects with a concentration in mechanical and HVAC building systems. Being both a licensed professional engineer as well as a certified energy manager (by AEE), he has a problem solving and optimization approach to facility systems and has experience in both the design and analysis of various types of buildings with varying types of major central plant systems, inclusive of thermal ice storage systems, geothermal, boilers, steam distribution systems, compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, chilled water distribution, air handlers, and air distribution systems.
In the last four years, Mr. Szarawarski has been personally responsible for the development and completion of energy auditing, investment grade energy auditing, retro-commissioning and other varying energy related engineering projects for over 10 million SF of higher education, laboratory, office, multi-residential, K-12 schools and industrial facilities.
